On Tuesday night, 5th of March, the East Fremantle Junior Football Club coaches got together for the first of several planned sessions this season, aimed at improving their coaching skill set.
EFJFC President, Travis French, kicked the night off with a brief presentation on rules and regulations for the 2013 season.

Simon focused on developing training strategies to implement a game plan that the coaches wanted their players to follow on match day. Attention was paid to drills that would improve player decision making during a game, starting with a basic drill and escalating it to match day conditions as player skill level increased.
A few simulations were run with the Coaches standing in as players. Some of the coaches still have what it takes, and some think they do, but maybe their best is behind them! The evening was enjoyed by all, and the coaches will be waking in the middle of the night jotting down plays on bedside notepads, as they wait for the start of the season to finally arrive.
