East Fremantle Junior Football Club Y11s have won the 2013 Grand Final defeating Bullcreek Leeming by 53 points on a beautiful spring day at Shark Park. Final Score:

East Fremantle 13.15.93  defeated  Bullcreek Leeming 6.4.40

The Power grabbed the ascendency from the first bounce. With the aid of 2-3 goal wind and some excellent tap work out of the centre, The Power made the first quarter a shut out to lead 3.6.24 to 0.0.0.  At the quarter time break Coach Brett Regan pleaded for a defensive team effort in the second quarter going against the wind.  The Power not only defended but matched Bullcreek on the scoreboard with each side kicking four goals.

At the start of the second half, there were a few nervous parents in the crowd, waiting for a Bullcreek comeback that never eventuated.  The Power kicked two goals to none in the third quarter to put one hand on trophy.  The three quarter time score was 9.10.64 to 4.4.28.  The coach asked for better disposal in the last quarter, and implored the players to keep their composure and take time off the clock at every opportunity. Any doubts about a win vanished when the Power kicked the first goal of the last quarter.  From there the momentum was unstoppable, and the result not in doubt.

The East Fremantle Junior Football Club Year 7 team had the privilege of playing at half time during the WAFL game, East Fremantle versus West Perth in mid-2013. The boys were able to rub shoulders with East Fremantle legends! Jack Sheedy (left) played 210 games for the club including two premierships in 1943 and 1946. On the football field he was renowned for his leadership, handball mastery and brilliant kicking. Jack was Patron of the Club from 1990 to 2005. Jack sparred with Harold Jefferys his old team mate. A fellow Hall-of-Famer, Harry was a close checking backman, strongly built and had eyes only for the ball.
