-
Abide by the rules of the game and rules set down by your coach, club and district
-
Respect and follow the directions of coaching staff, match and club officials.
-
Act respectfully toward the officials and players of the EFJFC as well as those from opposing Clubs
-
Co-operate with your coach and team mates, and respect the ability of your opponent. Without them there would be no game.
-
Never argue with an official or umpire. If you disagree, discuss the matter with your team manager who may then approach the official during a quarter break or after the game has been completed.
-
Control your temper. Verbal or physical abuse of officials, umpires, spectators or other players, deliberately distracting or provoking an opponent is not acceptable or permitted and won’t help you enjoy or even win any games.
-
Be a team player, it’s a team game so treat it that way and aim to work equally hard for both yourself and your team.
-
Be a good sport. Applaud all good plays whether they are for your team, your opponent or the other team so that you can be proud to walk off the ground after each game knowing that you have given your best effort.
-
Treat all players as you would like to be treated. Do not interfere with, use derogatory language, bully or take unfair advantage of another player. Your involvement to play is for fun and enjoyment and that winning is only part of it.
-
Play for the “fun of it” and not just to please parents and coaches.
-
Attend training sessions and matches at times advised by the Club. If unable, for a valid reason to do so, players will inform the Club as soon, as is practical.
-
Respect the facilities and equipment of the EFJFC and those provided by opposing Clubs.
-
Abide by the global competition by-laws as published by the WA Football Commission.
